International Christian Cycling Club

We are proud to announce the addition of Uganda as our latest spoke. Many of you have helped support the outreach to Uganda over the past several years through your donations of bikes, bike parts, clothing, money, and most importantly your prayers. Your efforts have paid off with the addition of our latest spoke located in Jinja, Uganda.

In November 2005, we originally came across Pastor David’s Uganda team through one of our sponsor’s (Hammer Nutrition) newsletters.We initially sent over 550 lbs of goods in December 2005 to help the Uganda team with desperately needed bike supplies. In November 2006, we sent over 1,500 lbs of bike supplies (including 10 bikes) and other supplies. Most recently, we supplied the Uganda riders with a full set of IC3 kits for the team. (Check out the Gallery section of the webpage for photos of the guys in their new IC3 gear.)

The team is part of Pastor David’s Oasis of Life church (www.oasisoflifeministries.org ) in Jinja. Currently, there are about 1,000 church members and the numbers are growing rapidly thanks to outreach ministries like the cycling team. The team is also growing in notoriety throughout Uganda and is a source of pride for the people of Uganda. We are honored to add them to the IC3 family and continue to support them in their mission of spreading the word of Jesus Christ to a part of the world so desperately in need.

For anyone interested, we are planning a mission trip to Uganda in the July / August timeframe to further support the ministry and spend time riding with our Ugandan IC3 brothers.
