2005 has started off with a bang. We are face with over 150 Different events to participate in the state of Georgia this year as a Club and Race Team.
We have been successful to secure a table at B.R.A.G. (Bike Ride Across Georgia). We will be at the tune up in Madison, Georgia April 15-17, 2005 in preparation for the BRAG ride June 11th -18th The BICYCLE RIDE ACROSS GEORGIA is an annual odyssey of discovery of gorgeous Georgia by bicycle. BRAG is a family-oriented tour. It is not a race. It is recreational, social, and, in many ways, educational. While a strenuous journey, BRAG has been completed by all types of people college students and first graders, judges and soldiers, teachers and grandparents. It's like a fun summer camp for the whole family. On BRAG 2005 you will see Georgia in a way few others see it...at the quiet, slower pace of a bicycle ride. You'll discover things about Georgia, and about yourself, that you never even imagined. You will meet people from all over the nation and the world. Many riders come back year after year to make BRAG a favorite part of their vacation. Riders travel at their own pace along a set route. At the end of each day's ride, we tent camp at a local high school. Limited indoor camping will be available at all overnight sites, usually in the gym. Some riders will choose to stay at local motels. During the afternoon and evening, there will be activities and entertainment. The towns we'll be visiting are going all out to make sure we have a great time. The ride will be leaving Columbus on the 11th and visiting and staying in 5 different cities through out Georgia the proceeding to Jekyll Island on the coast come the 18th. We have the Tour de Georgia Road race event coming in April 19th thru 20th. With Lance defending his title it is sure to draw record crowd for it 3rd year of existence. The Tour De Georgia is becoming the premiere Stage race in the USA drawing crowd upward to over 100,000 on the finial day. We pray that God opens doors for the opportunity to have a great presents during anyone of the stages. We also have the Georgia Cup Race series and other Race venue for the year that we are in prayer to have great impact and visual presents at. We have been blessed this year with Maxxis tires jumping on board for the year as a sponsor. We have also have had Fred and Cathy Fox stepping up to take on the role of PR for the local group. We give thanks for the hard work that they have done and will do in the future. We look forward to the year and what the lord has in store for us. We have many Ideas for this year and next. Please keep us in your prayer that we continue to spread the Seeds and they grow in abundance for the Lord’s kingdom.
