We need your photos to populate our online store. Now that many of you have the new gear and other items from the store, it is time to take some pictures. We need to use your pictures in our store so everyone can see what we have available. Take your best action shots, spend a day in the park posing, or just lay all the items on your kitchen table. Once you snap all your works of art, submit your pictures.
So, why should you spend the time to take pictures for your club site? Well, honestly, we have tried and tried. Finally, we have come to realize that most of us running the store and website are just too photographically challenged. We need your help. Besides, you can win fabulous prizes and this is your chance to be an international model!

The Seattle Spoke had a great 4th year at the Seattle International Bike Expo in Seattle. President Paul Haller flew to the cold Pacific Northwest and helped man the ICCC booth which was stocked thanks to Hammer Nutriton with lots of SWAG. We got over 50 new email members, two new club members, and three club member renewals during the two day expo. The final numbers are not in yet, but an estimated 9,000 people attended the Bike Expo.

the expo on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but had a few riders take
part in the different rides on Saturday.

July 20th the Lord brought IC3 members and friends together at Timberline Lodge in Frazer, Colorado. Numerous areas of the continent were represented including New Mexico, Arizona, California, Pennsylvania, Saskatchewan and Colorado. The Timberline staff was ready, the beds were made, the dining room tables were set and OLN was on the satellite (or was it?).

IC3-PA members, Scott Perschke, Todd Umbel and Stan Ritchie checked out GrannyGear’s new 24 Hours of Big Bear mountain bike race venue near Hazelton, West Virginia. After identifying that I68 has an exit #29 in both Maryland and West Virginia, which are not far apart from each other, we arrived at the venue. The trails are on private land next to "Big Bear Lake Campland". BBLC is a limited access camping community with access to a lake and various camping related activities as well as the access to the race venue. |

On 21 June, I will join 3 teammates in San Diego, California for a race that will span the continent ending at the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey. We will compete in the Race Across America (RAAM). RAAM is now in it’s 24th year. This year the race will cover 3047 miles and include over 110,000 feet of climbing. The race has no stages or designated rest periods; it is a steady push across the continent. There is no drafting permitted and the race is live to the very end. It has been called the toughest race in the world. |

You probably hear a lot about Moab, Utah in the communications of this club. There are several reasons for that. One is that there are a lot of club members from Colorado, which is Utah’s neighbor. Another reason is that they break out of winter earlier than many parts of the country. The weather is stunning. As you drive into town, you can just feel the stresses of life drop off your shoulders as soon it will just be you and the bike becoming one. The attraction that Moab provides may be unlike any other part of the country. Let’s explain.
