Gear for IC3 Uganda
Written by IC3 Web Team

IC3 Team in Uganda Many thanks to all those who contributed to help IC3’s ministry in Uganda .  IC3 members throughout the US contributed bikes, bike parts, clothing, computer equipment and funds to assist Pastor David and the Uganda spoke in reaching countless people in Uganda .  IC3 Uganda cyclists are spreading the gospel through cycling in a war torn country hungry for the love of Jesus Christ.    These guys are passionate about cycling and even more about God.   They regularly participate in races in Uganda and surrounding countries ( Rwanda , Kenya , etc).  Most recently, they took the first eight places in the Uganda championships.

We often take for granted in our culture many of the luxuries that we enjoy every day (cycling included).  Please pray for the success of this outreach ministry as it continues to grow and touch people throughout Africa

Lewis & Clark in '07 or '08 ?

Any GA members that would like to consider enjoying the L & C trail west from Independence Mo. for a week or two at merely 50 miles per day ????...... I have ridden the L & C from Illiinois to Independence, and what I have learned is that  IF  you wish to take in the history, et.al., traveling more than 50 per day becomes counter productive for that purpose.  Motels are typically available along the route.  It isa paved surface beyond Independence.  Lewis and Clark maps are available from Adventure Cycling.

I want to thank everyone who donated bikes, parts and monies for our Ugandan cycling brothers.  One of the bikes donated was  a Trek Carbon 5500.  What a sweet bike for our brothers in Uganda for their competition.

Riding for and with HIM,

Hey Y'all!

Welcome to the Carolina spoke! We are in a rebuilding phase and your input will be beneficial to the mission of spreading the word of our Father to all we can via the bikes we love to ride, a blessing in itself!

I am based out of Charlotte NC. The out reach began from my church Christ Lutheran Church where we are in our 3rd year with a small cycling club. We chose to "step out" by getting invovlved in the IC3 mission. You are absolutley welcome to come to one of our monthly fellowship rides on the first Sunday of every month. We meet at a local park, Col. Francis Beatty Park, just outside of south Charlotte. There is a chioice of family riding, mountain bike riding and road riding. I strongly suggest you contact (andy@charlottecyclingacademy.com) me before you come in order to decide what you might want to ride and stuff.

The 2007 season is yet to be planned, and this is the time for you to provide suggestions where we IC3ers can make a presence.

I would love to hear from you. GOD is GREAT!

Andy

24 Hours of Killington in Review!
Written by Stan Ritchie
Monday, 31 July 2006

The Killington outreach was very different from what's been done at the 24 Hours of Moab or 24 Hours of Big Bear.  The resort itself had some insurance liability requirements that hindered providing any official wrench support for other racers.   We also had a difficult time finding a forth racer for the team, but the Lord supplied a great guy to fill out our team.  With all the challenges we faced, we could sense that the Lord had plans....

Great is the Lord!!! We have a spoke in Romania!!!

If I look through my life, from birth untill now, I can clearly see how God wanted me to write this today. He got me here by His love and created me to be here for Him and the ones who need Him - I am here for them too. I pray that we will do a great job here in Romania, only for Jesus Christ, for our Saviour!!!

God bless you all!!!

Well the results are in for the Snohomish County Bike Commute Challenge!!

We came in third place.  Microsoft came in first place with the most mileage.  Had we had one more rider we would have toppled Microsoft!!  we were only short 519 miles!! and we did it with only five riders compared to their 8 riders. 580 participants in the Snohomish County Bike Commute Challenge.  51,888 miles were ridden in one month - enough to circle the earth two times and ride across the U.S. an extra time.
