This thread discusses the Content article: Indiana is a Spoke

Pete,
You rock-way to let the Lord use you man! Being a fellow Taylor Alumnus and temporary collegiate hoosier of sorts-this is really cool...in addition to the fact that my girlfriend's from Indiana. Blessings to you guys...if you are interested in putting together a joint camp in northern chicago or Wisconsin, let me know and our Twin Cities Spokers will come on out.

Blessings,
Kristofer Johnson
Twin Cities Spoke, Director

Glad to see the spoke forming. I'm assuming most of the gang is from Indy. I live down here in Bloomington. I'm mostly a roadie, but I do a lot of mountain biking in the off-season, too. I go to a mega evangelical church in town. Keep me informed, and let me know whenever you're down in the hills of southern Indiana.

Woah woah woah Jimmy...you're from Bloomington? Myself and two others from the spoke are actually in school here right now.

Myself and Kamaron are juniors and Kaleb is a sophomore. I'm currently fighting either some ridiculous form of the flu, or else I have the plague. Either way I haven't been on a bike in awhile but if you wanna meet up for some times on rollers next time we get together let me know.

Brillo:

So, mostly road biking for ya? I've been mountain biking lately at Wapahani, Brown County, or Hoosier Nat'l. I also mtn bike in Thompson Park on some clandestine trails in the woods next to it. So, let me know if any of you want to mtn bike sometime.

So, are you training for little 5?

Hey, I'm planning a 9 day road bike trip to Vegas (including traveling) between 3/24-4/4 or between 4/7-4/25. I'm leaning to the earlier time to not conflict with little 5. Let me know if you're interested.

We'll have to meet sometime at the Pourhouse after it opens in February. If you're wondering what the hey that is, it's a new coffee house that's owned by Sherwood Oaks. It's on Kirkwood across from the County Library. It's going to be a low key college ministry, but will have meeting rooms in the basement for any Christian activities.

I don't think I'll be able to make the Vegas trip due to Riders' Council for Little 5....I've gotta be present at the track quite a bit. Sounds like it would be a bunch of fun though. The Pourhouse sounds like a great plan. I try to make it to Sherwood Oaks whenever I get the chance...John Robertson and I used to talk a lot about the coffee house and how to impact the college community.

As far as biking goes I pretty much save myself for the road although I plan on buying a mountain bike once I convince myself I don't need any new components for my road bike. If you're ever planning to go out on the road let me know and maybe we can get a small group going. Especially in this weather it's always nicer to have more people.
